Dan P. landing his one thousandth glider flight.

.
Hello, everyone:
.
Another successful day of soaring, starting with nine CAP flights, followed by fourteen Club flights.  Steve R. started the Club flights with a ride for Lexy H’s dad, then flew two lessons with Lexy.  Hamid G. made the drive up from Kansas City and flew three lessons with Steve.  The L-33 came out of the hangar for a flight with Bob A.  Jeff F. flew two flights in his 1-26, and said he found a little lift on the east side of the airport.  David L. flew a solo in the L-23.  Jay B. flew his BFR with Steve, and I did a back seat flight with Steve for some practice.  It was a nice day to fly.  I keep thinking there can’t be too many more days like this before it gets cold.  Dan and Steve flew the CAP Cadets, and Frank towed all but one flight (Dan kept his hand in with one tow).
.
Of note is that Dan P. flew his one thousandth glider flight on Saturday.  That’s quite a milestone!  Many of those flights have been spent teaching others to soar, or giving someone their first experience in a glider.  Thank you, Dan!
.
Thanks All.
.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving,
Tom
