Hi, all:
Today may have been the final flight operations day for the 2024 soaring season. Rain, wind, and cooler temps are forecast. Plus, we’re putting all of our aircraft into non-flying status for 90 days, starting on December 1st. This will save some money on the insurance premium, which is our largest expense. Today was a very nice day to be flying. The temperature was comfortable, and the wind was very light. It was smooth as glass up there. There were no thermals, but there was also no sink, so the flights were a bit longer today. Today’s flights:
– Bob A. flew a solo flight in the L-23.
– Eric H. took his son Ethan for a ride in the L-23.
– Ryan K. flew the Clubs Grob for his first flight in a single seat glider. All went well, and he made a nice landing.
– Beth C. flew a flight lesson with Eric instructing.
– Bud S. flew a flight in his Grob.
– Jeff F. flew an L-23 flight from the rear seat with Ryan riding along in the front.
– Eric flew the hangar flight in the clubs Grob.
Bob D. did the towing today.
Regards,
OSCI
