Hi, OSCI Members:
It was another great Monday to fly. Flight operations started with Steve R. and I going up. I took the rear seat for a rear seat refresher flight. Second up was Jeff F. in the first of three flights with his 1-26. Bob A., Bud S. and I all flew solo flights in the L-23, while Steve found time to get in a thirty-eight-minute flight in Jeff’s glider (beating Jeff’s first flight of the day by two minutes). Matt R. flew from Atlantic, IA in his Cessna 172 and flew three flights, two with Steve and a solo flight, which was the hangar flight for the day. There was good lift from about 1:00PM on. Jeff reached 5,600′, and I made it to just under 6’000′. The weather was beautiful – clear skies and light winds. Bob Dyer did the towing today.
Thanks all for a safe day of flying.
Tom
