It was a beautiful Sat. morning for a 9:00 start. We need to do that more often. Got in the air by 10:00 and completed 6 flights and the equipment put away by 1:00. Started off with a couple of potential new members John Pineda and his son Chris. Both flew their first flight with Dan Peterson while Jamie towed. Tom Schaap went up with Whit for a recurrency flight followed by Jamie flying with Donna Neff. Bob Dyer took up a pilot friend of his who has an RV-7 to experience engineless flight. The hanger flight was Tom S. solo to conclude the day before the oppressive heat set in. Jamie , Whit and Dan shared the towing. Next week is predicted to be a bit cooler in the 70’s. Also have the hanger roofing work next week. Could be a good week to fly.
