It was a nice day flying in Blair today with the Omaha Soaring club. A total of ten flights with a combination of training and introductory rides. We have two new members that took their first flights with us today (KC and Dan). Welcome gentlemen!
A new club cfi (David Twibell) and tow pilot shared cfi duties with me, and tow pilot duties with Frank. Frank had 7 tows starting us off at 11 am, and David had 3 as we finished up ops at 3:30.
I’d like to thank everyone for a job well done. Everyone pitched in early and stayed late to put the birds away. A special thank you to Tom S who called to make sure things were going smooth and Bob A who came by to keep the ground ops organized.
The only thing that we didn’t have today were thermals. Most flights averaged 16 minutes, the longest being 22.
