Hi, all:

A chilly start today! And, still no rain in weeks. The runway is very dusty. The badgers and ground squirrels can’t keep their holes open, because their dirt tunnels just collapse on them. There’s no moisture in the soil to hold the dirt together. The dust from the crops being harvested made the horizon hard to see at times.

On with today’s flight recap:

– We started with 11 CAP Cadet Glider Orientation flights.
– Bob D. took his daughter for a ride in the L-23.
– Jose flew two flight lessons with Steve R.
– Bob A. flew a solo flight in the L-23.
– Bud flew the hangar flight.

Frank M. and Bob D. did the towing.

Thanks all.

Tom S.
