The September membership meeting of the Omaha Soaring Club was held on September 27 at the Omaha Soaring Club clubhouse at Blair Executive Airport. Twenty members, family members, and significant others were in attendance.
This was primarily a social gathering and cook-out in celebration of another successful soaring season. In the only club business addressed, our own Jaime A has been recognized by the Soaring Society of America (SSA) as the most active SSA Instructor in Region 7 and the third most active in the United States, based on the number of SSA badges awarded in 2023. Congratulations were given to Jaime, and a determination made that no other issues required the attention of the membership. The meeting was adjourned, and the dining commenced.
