Hi All,
Today we flew a total of twenty flights.  First, we flew ten CAP Cadet Glider Orientation flights, and then we flew ten club flights.  The morning was pleasant, but it got hot around noon.  Todays club flights:
1) Jim D. flew a flight in the L-23 with Bob A. riding as ballast in the front.
2) Sean S. did a self-launch with his new electric Jonkers glider.  That was verrrry cool!
3) Joe C. flew a flight lesson in the L-23 with Steve R.
4) Sean did an aerotow in his Jonkers.
5) Joe C. and Steve R. flew another flight lesson in the L-23.
6) Mark B flew a solo flight in the L-23.
7) New club member Jonathan F. flew two flight lessons with Steve R.  Welcome Jonathan!
8) Steve flew a paid ride.
9) Bud did the hangar flight in his Grob Astir CS77.
A hot afternoon it was and no lift developed.  These hot ‘dead air’ days only last so long.  Come January, we will probably miss it, lol.
Frank M. and Bob D. did the towing.  Dan P. flew the CAP flights and Steve R. did the instructing.  Thanks to all.
Tom
