The June general membership meeting of the Omaha Soaring Club was held at 9:00 a.m. on 22 June at the OSC clubroom at Blair Executive Airport. 11 club members were in attendance and 8 cast proxy votes.
Consideration of the club’s financial status, and adjustments to the club’s fee structure were the primary topics. The Board of Directors had met previously to adjust the tow fees, and propose by-laws changes to adjust the monthly membership fees and reinstate an initial fee for new members. These fees are described in Bud’s letter of 18 June to the club membership (attached).
The funding of the work required on the Pawnee was discussed as the source of the concerns for the club’s financial status.
A motion was made to endorse the Board’s changes to the aerotow fees. This was agreed unanimously by those in attendance.
A motion was made to change the by-laws to adjust the monthly membership fees, as described in the letter. This change received 17 affirmative votes from those in attendance or voting by proxy, and is adopted.

The following new business was discussed:
A suggestion was made to consider amending the by-laws to give full authority for setting all club fees to the Board of Directors.
Sean volunteered to lead an effort to clean up the storage room adjacent to the Pawnee.
The need for a liability waiver for all occupants of club gliders was again discussed and will receive further action.
Considerations for club participation at the Offutt air show and the STEM Day at MLE were discussed, but no decisions reached.
